MF Chronicle Episode 04 - The Death of a Season

Joey and Daniel finished up Season 1 of ReBoot. We did a little recap and I will update the blog later today hopefully. Right now I just wanted to get the audio up!

So now that season 1 is over, we'll be moving onto season 2. The creators did a little making of video that you guys can watch here. It's pretty interesting but doesn't show you a whole lot of new stuff.
I ordered a bunch of the trading cards from ReBoot that they released in 1995 that I will hopefully post some pics of later and maybe we'll talk about them on the podcast. Who knows? Well. See you guys next year when we talk season 2!

Scheduling

Well, we were shooting for a bi weekly schedule for this podcast. Clearly that is not happening. Here's the deal, I packed up my life and moved to Los Angeles. This means that my schedule has been a little hectic and sporadic. Joey has been pretty busy as well. Unfortunately we haven't been able to record recently. We will be going to a monthly schedule for the foreseeable future. Here's a little something to tide you over however:

This summer I spent doing theatre work in Coldwater, Michigan. Now there isn't a lot to do in that area. However, there are quite a few antique shops around there. My buddy Gabe and I were out antiquing one day. There was this huge 2 story barn about the length of a football field. It was almost a flea market set up as there were different booths that people would set their stuff up at and then you're money goes to the owners of the particular booths. Anyways, we spent over an hour going through and finding several LPs (Fleetwood Mac's Rumours would be my highlight), comics, Redwall books, a betamax tape of Thriller (Which I didn't get unfortunately). So we're just about to head back downstairs to check out. I take one glance back over my shoulder. I see a familiar creepy face hanging on the wall of a booth.
It's a 10"x6" cardstock mini poster that was far too perfect to pass up for a dollar, so I bought it. It seemed like a good omen.

I just wanted to share that fun little anecdote. Here is also a map of Mainframe. I will post again later going into detail on this map. Enjoy!

As of right now, there is no set date to release the third episode of the podcast, but look for it by the end of the month. Thanks for reading and Stay Frosty!

MF Chronicle Episode 02 - 90s Galore

Good day sirs and mademoiselles! Welcome to the blog for Mainframe Chronicle. A TV review podcast of the 90s cartoon ReBoot. I apologize for not posting this episode Saturday (as I intended) but alas, I was busy looking at rooms and apartments in LA as I need a place to stay. Also I was sleeping since I had to get up at 6:30 to go do some work as a second interview kind of thing. It went well though and was totally worth it. More on that later.

Anyways, the reason you are here: Mainframe Chronicle episode 2. We talk about the episodes: The Medusa Bug, The TIFF, and In the Belly of the Beast. We discuss many other things alone the way, including superman, batman, and pokemon. Hope you guys enjoy! As always, check us out and leave us a review on iTunes. You can also subscribe to the RSS feed on this page. There should also be a download link somewhere. You can and should find us on twitter (@MFChronicle), Facebook (Mainframe Chronicle Page), or email (mainframechronicle@gmail.com).

MF Chronicle Episode 01 - The Games Begin

In this episode we talk about the first three episodes of ReBoot: The Tearing, Racing the Clock, and The Quick and the Fed.

The first episode of our podcast. It's been almost a year since we first started talking about doing this. Joey and I got serious about it come spring time, but we were too busy. Once summer hit, we tried to record this almost 10 times. Due to illnesses, technical difficulties, and time zone differences, we've had to postpone. Finally we have this one finished!
I'm still working on the getting it into itunes. I had a way to do it, but alas they had a limit to how bid a file you can upload. This limit was half the size of the first episode. As such, I'm looking at alternative options.

Anyways, thanks for listening!

Stay Frosty.
